# HIG Lens > Paste Swift/SwiftUI code and get an independent iOS design review written against Apple's > Human Interface Guidelines: a sound/refactor/rework verdict, a five-area design health check, > severity-ranked findings each carrying corrected SwiftUI, a twelve-item checklist, a line diff > and a full refined rewrite of your own file. HIG Lens is an independent third-party tool published on SkillSafe. It is **not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Apple Inc.** "Apple", "Human Interface Guidelines", "SwiftUI" and "SF Symbols" are trademarks of Apple Inc., used only to describe what this tool reviews. Its guidance reflects the Human Interface Guidelines and SwiftUI practice **as of February 2026**. The guidelines change with each OS release and this app cannot fetch the live version, so the current Human Interface Guidelines at developer.apple.com govern. A clean result here is **not** a prediction of App Review, which applies the separate App Store Review Guidelines to a built, submitted app. ## What it does - **Free, in-browser prescan.** Pattern matching that never leaves the browser: hardcoded colors, fixed font sizes that ignore Dynamic Type, deprecated NavigationView, ignored safe areas, UIScreen.main.bounds sizing, non-lazy stacks inside a ScrollView, bare onTapGesture controls, touch targets under the 44pt minimum, image-only controls with no accessibility label, and tab bars past five tabs. Line numbers are exact against the paste. - **The review (metered).** A verdict, a health check across layout and adaptivity, typography and Dynamic Type, color and dark mode, navigation and structure, and accessibility; findings that quote your code and carry corrected SwiftUI; a twelve-item checklist; and a reconciliation of every prescan hit — confirmed or explicitly set aside. - **The rewrite, as a diff.** Your file refined, shown as a line diff against your own paste, with a one-click "use as input and re-review" loop that compares the next review against the last. - **Exports.** Markdown, JSON, findings CSV, per-finding copy, Refined.swift download. Pressing "Review it" sends your code to the SkillSafe API, and so does the live price estimate. The prescan, the diff, the exports and the bundled example replays do not. ## Pages - [App](https://hig-lens.skillsafe.ai/): the review tool. - [API](https://hig-lens.skillsafe.ai/api.html): drive it programmatically — cURL, Python, JavaScript, Go, Java, Ruby, PHP, C#.
